I built 50% of this kit over 15 years ago. Eventually, the box was too large to ignore. This is what I always wanted to do to my real E Type.
This kits 'reputation' didn't disappoint: I see it as a vintage toy kit that always wanted to be a 'presentable' scale model. Despite the many challenges, there are a few master modelers who do museum grade builds of this kit. They represent my inspiration for this attempt.

Welcome our new Region 11 Coordinator, Bruce Drummond Sr. Bruce is a long time modeler. His IPMS/USA odyssey started in Long Island in the 80's. He migrated (as many northerners do) to the West Palm Beach are in FL and was involved in many chapters there. He was instrumental in creating the South Florida Scale Model Consortium in West Palm Beach in 2012.
His first of many nationals was in 2008 in Virginia as well as his first experience in judging. He was the head judge for the Miscellaneous Category in Phoenix.
